2.4 About the Tray

Tray functionality

The function of the Tray is to hold the Buttons on the ta ble when the meeting has ﬁnished. The Tray can hold up to 4 Buttons.

Introduction

The ClickShare App is freely available from the Apple store. It allows one to display static content s uch as PDF and

JPG documents on iPads and iPhones.

The Ap p is like a virtual Button , including the multiple on s creen composition and the show-me-only capa bility. Content from tablet

devices running the App is treated by the Base Unit just like content coming from a physical Button. Although the App does not

provide an exact real-time mirroring of the client device’s s creen like t he B utton (which is not possible for technical an d legal reas ons),

it is a bit better than pure static content in the sense that also zo oming in and out using the pinch gesture and annotating using a

virtual pen are possible. T he App also has a shot-and-show capability. This me ans that while the App is running in the back ground,

a picture taken with the built-in c amer a or a snapshot taken using the two button gesture will autom atically be sent to the Base Unit.

Before you can us e your iOS device with the ClickShare A pp, you have to connect the wiﬁ with the ClickShare SSID. Follow the

instructions as given in your iOS dev ice user guide.
